Goodby Silverstein & AI

During my recent AI explorations, I couldn't help but pay homage to Jeff Goodby and Rich Silverstein. These are the individuals who generously opened the doors of their agency to me, a foreigner with limited English proficiency at the time. They showed immense patience, recognizing my strong design and art direction skills despite the language barrier. It was a true joy, and I even had the unique experience of becoming, as Rich himself once put it, his 'personal art director.' We often collaborated closely, and I felt privileged to help translate their incredible craft into the digital age, and now, even into the realm of AI. I still cherish a 'masterpiece' Rich created using only scissors, tape, and printed text, assembled with such precision it rivaled any digital composition. This small celebration is my heartfelt way of expressing my deep respect for them, and how genuinely comfortable and welcomed I felt every single day I spent at the agency over those seven years. Miss you, friends, and thank you for continuing to inspire!
