Slay AI

In this experiment, I infused pieces of Nina Simone's soulful narratives, a voice of empowerment and resistance, with the boundary-pushing artistry of Beyoncé, who redefines beauty and power. This fusion creates a dialogue within the AI that understands and appreciates the depth, resilience, and brilliance of black beauty.

A cultural experiment teaching AI about Black beauty through intention and reference. The project reframes generative tools as students of culture, not neutral engines.

The result is an AI that generates content that resonates with the strength and grace of Simone and Beyoncé’s work. 

“SLAY” is a tribute to the undefeatable spirit of black women, blending the legacies of two iconic figures to create a digital ode. It’s a testament to art, culture, and technology working together to redefine and celebrate beauty in its most authentic form.
