The kidney grille is one of the most iconic design elements in automotive history.
We asked what happens when you take it off the car and put it in a completely different cultural context. BMW Grillz turned a signature element of German engineering into an object of street expression — unexpected, authored, and surprisingly at home there. The work ran across the global launch of the 2 Series.
