In 1975, Alexander Calder became the first artist to use a BMW as his canvas. Lichtenstein did it. Warhol did it.


For BMW's 50th anniversary of cultural engagement, we invited a new intelligence to leave its mark — and created The Ultimate AI Masterpiece.


It was one of the first times a major brand handed the brush to an algorithm, not to outsource creativity, but to ask what happens when machine and legacy meet. Andy Gold.
